Karen. First WOD JM made me do in PT. I asked if that's what I had to do that month (seriously) and he said "No, today. Pick up the ball!"

TIP FOR SOMEONE STARTING CROSSFIT?
Don't use the excuse 'I'm too old, over weight, or unfit' I ticked all the boxes. CrossFit is exactly for people like us!

Someday. See bucket list.

OCCUPATION: CFO for HC&S

Average day for you from breakfast to bed: boiled egg, drive to work, open post, protein shake. Say, 'there must be more to life than this'. Load up Look Busy Programme. Soup for lunch, philosophise about the Universe and meaning of life. Look up today's WOD say 'that's bloody ridiculous, I hate Jon Maggs'. Panic, eat a banana. Turn off Look Busy Programme. Drink Ignite. Drive to box, get excited, get my ass kicked. Love my crew, love Jon Maggs. Home, eat, shower, bed. Can't wait to do it all again.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU TRAIN?
3-4 times if poss

HOBBIES?
Hanging out with my ladies that lunch, my girls that drink, and friends that like to boogie

Nickleback, Never Again

FAVOURITE FOOD?
Tried reindeer last week. Sorry guys I think I ate Rudolph, but he was delicious!

FAVOURITE MUSIC?
Anything that gets me up dancing. Currently getting a wiggle on is Gorgon City, Go all Night. Sunday morning chill out music, James Bay, Let It Be. 

Best thing about training at JM Fitness and being part of CFCV?
Our CrossFit family. 

Something on your bucket list that you have yet to complete?
To do a bioluminescent swim

3 aims that you would like to achieve in CrossFit?
Weights or movements To do an unassisted pull up, a 100kg deadlift. To still be doing this in 10 years time.

Do you take any supplements?
If yes what are they? Protein shake, Amino BCAA and ZMA. 

Can I just say...
For me CrossFit isn't about defeating others and establishing superiority. I am not a natural athlete just a normal women dealing with the daily pressures of life. Crossfit tests my skills of strength and endurance with a group of like minded individuals in a 'competitive but supportive environment'. I'll never be first on the board, but I will always try hard, very hard.
