Gaynor is an experienced Pilates teacher working out of JM Fitness and currently teaches one to one and small group classes using the resistance based studio equipment. Working with a higher level of individual attention the classes are tailored for the needs of the client and can be particularly helpful in rehabilitating injury and reaching specific training goals. As well as improving postural awareness Pilates utilizes the deep core muscles which protect and stabilise the spine. Gaynor teaches regular advanced classes and specialist sports including triathletes, rowers, dancers and currently clients preparing for skiing.
Working with the spring resistance of the Pilates equipment helps to identify muscle imbalance, enabling you to strengthen, stretch and tone specific muscle groups. Whether you require individual rehabilitation sessions, demanding workouts for the exercise enthusiast or sports specific training, Gaynor will work with you to improve your posture and overall fitness level
Gaynor is one of the few instructors in the Bristol area qualified to teach using the Pilates equipment. She has over 12 years experience working throughout the southwest region and with her background as a professional contemporary dancer, she uses her first hand experience of movement alongside her intensive Pilates training to inspire people to exercise.

Now we are delighted to say Gaynor has decided to offer a brand new lunch time Pilates small equipment class using foam rollers, physio balls and resistance bands working to increase stability, strength and flexibility.
These will cater for small numbers so booking is essential as places are strictly limited.
